I hired Mr. Hastings to help me find out if I'm included or excluded from my father's trust. He required that I retain him in order to write the letter to the trustee. I paid the retainer and the next week on September 15, I attempted to contact his office. I received a call back from Mr. Hastings and he said he'd be in touch on Thursday or Friday to work on the next steps for my case. Divorce can be one of the most traumatizing experiences you will ever have. 14 years ago I had Emily smoke as my divorce lawyer 12 years later find that my husband had had a $10,000 a month pension.
