i tended bar at the first “fern bar” in the south Bay Area during the late 70s and early 80s. the only hot buttered rum batter the owner would permit was harvey’s. it’s still just as good now as it was back then…and back then it was THE BEST!

The best rum batter ever if it's the original recipe from the 70's. It was a fun family operation. Used to be across from C&C grocery.
Best sweet popcorn I have ever had. Butter rum toffee is amazing! Very kind nice representative in Safeway in kingston today. 03/03/2021. The hint of nutmeg makes it perfect.
