I have done business with the original Hartzell for at least 25 years, we did an exchange for services with them, many years ago, for an employee of theirs. Good thing I always keep great records. Customer service ALWAYS ALWAYS came back they wanted the money after I sent them the invoice with the treatment rendered on the patient and the adjustment off the employee's records. They do make good products. Initially, I was happy with their products and ordered few times during the CDA convention. Unfortunately, customer service is not up to par. After a recent order, one of the instrument was defective and I prompted called to return The customer rep. told me to just return it. Do I need a return authorization number? No I was informed. I have been a customer of G Hartzell & Son for 14 years. I placed an order Nov 2013 for $900 of perio scalers. We likely received an invoice with the shipment that was not paid. Our mistake. I was surprised to receive a statement six months later stating our overdue account with $60+ of finance charges.
