Buyer beware — complete lack of integrity and accountability. My husband and I hired this office to prepare our 2022 tax return, and it was never filed. Because of that failure, we later received an IRS notice in 2025 showing over $579 in penalties and interest. Marie lost all our documents in 2023 and never even notified us, then when questioned about it, she urged us to break the law by not filing at all. I am writing this review as someone who witnessed firsthand the extreme stress and financial damage caused to my friends by Hart's Tax Services. They hired Marie to file their 2022 tax return, which she failed to file entirely. Furthermore, she lost all their original documentation. This negligence led to them receiving serious IRS notices regarding penalties and interest. ***BEWARE*** DO NOT USE HART'S TAX SERVICES! I paid this firm to prepare and file my 2022 federal tax return. I worked personally with Marie, the owner. In 2025 I received an IRS notice showing my 2022 return had never been filed. After contacting Marie, I was notified that they lost all my documentation and never filed my 2022 tax return. Due to her negligence and incompetence I incurred $579.43 to the IRS in penalties and interest arising from the non-filing and $66.44 from Ohio.
