As solicitors to the republican party and proponents of the Atlantic Sunrise pipeline, Hartman Underhill & Brubaker LLP took it upon themselves to try to stop home rule petitions from simply being submitted by the communities the pipeline would affect. They cited line spacing and page numbering as the offenses that should have the petition removed from the ballot. Needless to say their case was thrown out.
