Bunch of liars. Call the main number, get told one thing. I was actually pleasently suprised by the professionalism and directions received from the call central. I did what the call center asked. I went to the tax office and was told something completely different. Local staffvl blamed the call center for their incompetence. Shame on the staff here, no accountability or responsibility. Government jobs are the best!
"I had an incredibly frustrating experience at the Harris County Tax Office in Tomball. Despite the 8:00 AM opening time, the officer didn't step outside until after the hour, only to deliver a rude 'welcome' by telling us we picked the worst day to come. Communication was poor throughout. The receptionist was dismissive, and I had to rely on a kind stranger in the lobby to explain the numbering system. Closed on Wednesdays. Not updated on Google maps! Just so you know.
Is the worst place ever to try and come to do anything. I’ve tried to do my car registration three separate times and the wait was over two hours. Clearly Annette Ramirez does not know how to run a county tax office.
