Kathy has been doing my family taxes for over 20 years. She’s respectful and thorough. She returns my calls and emails in a timely manor. Kathy made divorced people taxes seamless with every other year dependent claims etc.
I would not recommend using Harms Accounting. From my experience Kathy was difficult to reach, unreliable, lacked organization, and demonstrated a significant lack of empathy, understanding, and customer service skills. To preface, I was completing my deceased mother's taxes through Harms. My deceased mother always raved about their service, I brought my mothers final taxes in over a month ago, called at least 5 time with the same response. She’s working on it. For all I know they lost my mom’s paperwork.
My sister-in-law and her deceased husband used Harms for many years. We think there were 2 errors in the 2021 tax returns. We have called more than 5 times and no return calls. Finally, we sent a registered letter in late May, 2023 and still no response.
