We first contacted Lyn 3 years ago for our son- 10 years old at the time, as he had a severe stutter and years of speech therapy had not managed to get it to a level he was comfortable with. Throughout the process, Lyn actually helped our son to hugely decrease his anxiety levels- 3 years on, he still hasn’t got the anxiety he used to have. I’ve had a severe stutter since the age of 5; numerous therapies, techniques and treatments offered little to no relief, and if they did, it was only ever temporary. I saw & tried everything - psychologists, speech pathologists, psychiatrists. When I reached my 20s, I had just about resigned and accepted my fate as someone who would continue to stutter and never get over it. My son had a couple of sessions with Lynn to help him with his football while he was striving to make it to a professional footballer. It seemed to help him enormously. We saw a real change in his confidence and self belief.
