MM Is Jennifer H sure she is referring to the proper Harleysville Bank? There used to be a Harleysville National, which is now First Niagara! Harleysville Savings (the best community bank ever) and Harleysville National (First Niagara) are two different banks. Harleysville Savings has and excellent reputation for going above and beyond for its customers as any customer of the bank would certainly agree!
Mortage I would check around before using Harleysville, other banks are offer ing better deals and will work with you better for what you need. They try to get you locked in and don't explaine things very well.
Best Local Bank Around I went to this bank to apply for a mortgage, the employees were very friendly and professional. I have since opened a checking account as well. Unusually friendly and helpful people work there, my kind of place to do business.
