I was with Viniar & Company for a long time, they recently merged with Harless, my new accounting firm found I wasn't getting deductions for non deductible ira contributions because Viniar missed this also I was in violation with IRS rulings for Sub S shareholder basis worksheets that Viniar failed to keep. Notified both Viniar & Harless but no help.

I contacted Steve Harless after I received a letter from the IRS informing me that I had prepared my 2016 return wrong. It was pretty clear from the letter that they wanted more money. Steve turned an approximate $3,800 hit into a refund. I would recommend Harless & Associates to anyone looking for an accounting firm or a tax preparer. I've always prepared my own taxes in the past, but never again.
I always enjoy going into Harless & Associates. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, it's a genuinely warm welcome. The entire team is incredibly knowledgable and treasure this new relationship.
They have been preparing my tax return the last few years, and also just did an amended 2010 return for me. Great job and very nice people. Reasonable rates as well. I would recommend them. My taxes are not complicated and they are very fair with me.
