Such a cool place in a funky little location! Great humans who work there. I’m not a great carpenter, but I’m learning slowly, and they were patient with me. I bought a couple of great pieces of mahogany from them last fall and built the two bookcases here to go with my fireplace. (I didn’t build the fancy fireplace — that’s way beyond my skill!) I stopped by here today and the owner helped me select a small piece of maple to complete my project. I didn't need anything large or exotic but I kind of wish I did because they have a lot of good wood in there.
I tried to buy a couple pieces and asked to have it cut into smaller planks fot a project but i never got the wood I had ordered. Every time I called they would tell me they would check and call me back but no one would ever call me back so after a month of this I gave up. Im sure it's a great place if they have pieces your own can us straight out the door but when it comes to custome cuts or customer service they fall flat. I would Not recommend going to them if your looking for something for a current project.ǰ
