Awesome place with awesome people. Staff is so helpful and offer services to get your stock in good shape for your projects. Prices very fair and variety is great.
My first purchase here today. I am an amateur conventional archery bow builder. I purchased a piece of Osage as well as extra pieces for handle/riser. I will share pictures of finished product when done.
I’ve yet to have a bad experience at HLM. Very friendly and easy to work with. Lumber prices are somewhat middle of the pack to on the higher end but generally speaking the quality is there always. I will say that you should NEVER buy plywood from any of the big boxes if you live in Lakeland. That soft “sanded” nonsense sold at HD and Lowe’s costs more and pales in comparison to the Birch plywood at HLM! Save your money and recapture the joy of building using quality plywood. purchased 1/2" Baltic Birch Plywood, they have a wide variety of exotic, and domestic in all sizes
