Mum came to live with us as she was no longer available to live alone. We were finding it difficult being her sole carers and we were recommended to Harbour Rise for day-care. From the moment mum went to Harbour Rise she was a changed woman. She had something to look forward to and the motivation to get dressed in a morning and she looks forward to showing us what crafts she has made and telling us about her fun days with entertainment and she loves the food. On my first visit to Harbour Rise I was greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. The same has been true on every occasion since - and there have been many. I have always found the staff, management and owners to be approachable, conscientious and professional. The ratio of staff to residents is excellent and the care residents receive is exceptional. Harbour Rise is a well run clean and inviting care home offering a great range of options to look after your loved one. Every time I am there the staff are always friendly and helpful. Mark and Cecile invest a lot in keeping the home up to date and comfortable for the residence we visited many care homes within the bay and could not fined anywhere that was in the same league as Harbour Rise.

As a weekly visitor to Harbour Rise Rest Home and Day Care Centre Paignton, l feel it is so important to let others know just how welcoming, professional, caring, loving and fabulous it is there. It is an absolute Joy, and... Doggies are allowed to visit too All the staff - carers, admin staff, mini bus drivers, cooks, management and many more are second to none. Harbour Rise is amazing! We honestly can't recommend Harbour Rise enough. Our mum initially attended Day Care and then had a couple of weeks respite following an operation earlier in 2024. After returning home, Mum continued with her Day Care 3 days per week but in no time was keen to increase her Day Care to 6 days a week as she enjoyed it so much.
