This place was the answer to the care I needed for my fiance. He had cancer and parkingson's and needed the help to take care of him. The nurses were exceptional! The kitchen waitresses were supurb! Peg Contois was ALWAYS there for me to help with any issues I might have regarding my fiance. I would recommend this facility to anyone who just needed the extra care. Do NOT send your loved ones here. They left my loved ones room in COMPLETE filth many times I’m talking soiled sheets, disgusting bathroom, dirty unsanitary gloves. She has fallen many times which has landed in her in the hospital on top of bacteria monthly because of the lack of showers, and cleaning which we pay an astronomical amount for and simply isn’t being done. My mother moved up from Long Island NY into Alto Senior Living just over 1 month ago to be closer to her family in South Windsor. She absolutely LOVES everything about this community! Her apartment has exactly what she needs. Its a new community, only a few years old. The apartments are well lit, safe and very spacious and also have amenities included, including laundry, housekeeping,maintenance, cable, internet. I had another visit to see Diane and we had a great time. The staff were very accommodating and helpful without being intrusive. Wish I was there full time.
By far the best staff and residence around. Was in simsbury previously and was unhappy. Moved closer to family and moved to Harbour Chase now Alto at evergreen walk. My father has since passed and I miss the people and staff of Alto Evergreen Walk.
