I had a very troubling experience with this moving company employee, Kosta, and feel obligated to warn others. Major discrepancies between the original quote and the final charges, despite 2 full item by item inventories, and leaving my inventoried furniture behind. I also had to pay a junk removal fee to the townhome managers to remove my items since I could not. KOSTA, DONALD, AND ANDREW FROM HAPPY WHEELS WITH SAFE SHIP WERE A VERY PROFESSIONAL, HARD WORKING CREW. EVERTHING WAS PACKED WELL AND ARRIVED IN GREAT CONDITION. UPON DELIVERY, EVERYTHING WAS SET UP WHERE WE WANTED AND FURNITURE, INCLUDING THE BEDS, WAS PUT TOGETHER. I RECOMMEND HAPPY WHEELS AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
The Jodie Thompson review on this was with a Ukrainian man hovering over her shoulder. After 6 hours of them dragging, this man asks my mom to write a review. She says okay she will, he proceeds to say “no right now” then takes her phone, puts 5 stars and waits for her to put their names. I am counteracting their 5 star review with this 1 star. I had a very troubling experience with this moving company and feel obligated to warn others. I hired this company to move my household goods from Virginia to Ohio. I completed a detailed, item-by-item inventory with the broker, room by room, and was given a total quote of $13,525.92 by the broker, Safe Ship Moving. I paid 50% upfront in good faith, as required.
