Bad faith! I opened an account listing both my 89 year old mom and myself to use to purchase necessaries for her as we relocated her from New Jersey. Well for a period of two years the bank reported the interest the account earned under my social security. I talked to them about this when the 1099 arrived in 2023 and 2024 and they advised that I was primary account holder.
