I was surprised by the actions of the bank manager, who declined to provide her last name, during my recent visit to the Happy State Bank branch. I had visited this particular location as my account had been compromised, resulting in a loss of $473.00. As someone who has worked in the Panhandle area, I chose to visit this specific branch. It's interesting how one Teller, who claims to be the branch manager, is the same one who cannot explain the *mysterious* withdrawal on your account just that very morning. As in "I can't see or tell why the money isn't there, but I still won't put it back" Too many horror stories from people who bank at this location about tellers looking through accounts who shouldn't be, much less taking actual action on accounts with no paper nor electronic trail as to why.
