I've stayed in this house for 6 months! I really enjoyed it every day! Life was so much better after leaving there I've learned structure and that's what I craved for! I went there in 2020 spent Christmas and new years there and it was an amazing experience! I would go again just to get away from life I've been clean for 5 years now!

I was placed there from jail (Salem county) literally thee worst experience! That place is a workshop for addicts!!! The thing I seen and endured while there was crazy! I was so blessed when the sheriff's came and took me back to jail outa that hell hole! I'm so forever grateful that I ended up at SPRING HOUSE HALFWAY HOUSE FOR WOMAN IN Paramus nj! I never heard of it! But I wouldn't have 6yrs sober without them!
I was there last summer and was about to graduate when they kicked me out for a stupid reason.. there was absolutely no recovery at all all they wanted you to do was work work work and take your money.. there was ALWAYS money problems when they kicked me out and had nowhere to go they couldn’t give me my own money for two weeks? Well to start, they have a former staff member that has been prowling on the women clients that leave for years, and if he was a nice guy, that genuinely cared about women's well being, I would commend. He knows nothing about recovery or addiction but worked there and tried to get with all the former clients because he knows where to prey. Secondly, I feel they degrade and embarrass. Clean floorboard with toothbrushes, get with the times.
