W.C. Handy is a wonderful school! I have a kid in the transitional kindergarten class and one in the 3 year old class. They're both having a wonderful year and they enjoy going to school! From the outstanding superintendent, the wonderful principal, the awesome teachers and the sweet lunchroom ladies - we're happy to be Falcons!
Handy E.C.D.C. is an awesome place to be, where their is love. The faculty, parents, and children are all a great addition to the community! — with Andy Betterton and 2 others.
I have a daughter who started Pre-K and a son who started Special Education services at WC Handy this year. Both kids absolutely love going to school and can’t wait to get there each morning. The teachers are wonderful! The principal is amazing and communicates very well with parents.
We love our teacher, Mrs. Herrmann, and our speech aide, Mrs. Crosby. They put our minds at ease when we met them & our little boy loves attending school two days a week with them. Their eagerness to work with us as parents AND his speech/OT services our son receives outside of school is absolutely a comfort to us. Highly recommend. ❤️
It’s only been a week so far but my daughter loves her school so much! She loves her teachers Ms Elkins & Ms Garner as well! She comes home everyday telling me she had the best day and is excited for the next day! Definitely recommend sending your little ones here 👍🏼
