I was able to talk to a very knowledgeable person as I’m upgrading my eScooter’s tires from an inner tube with a tire (kinda off road) to a solid type and a more ‘street friendly’ (car guys would call them slicks nearly I suppose)…Long cat story short I’ll fill you in on my final experience in about two weeks. - Bon soir peeps
EDIT: false, I did not ask for free service. I stated that the bike hadn’t been ridden since we previously paid for work, and you seem to be under the impression that a chain can grow in length. When in reality, you probably hired a bad technician. I’m keeping it real and warning others to not waste money for poor service. Good luck! The worst experience I’ve ever had with a bike shop. Great bicycle shop. I've been getting service with them and making purchases for the past few years. The employees and owner are kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. One of my first interactions: My Kona's brake cable had popped during a ride. I was nearby so I walked it in and they were able to fix within about 20 minutes. I was able to ride home without issue. Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service.
Handlebar Cyclery has gone above and beyond. Not only was everyone pleasant and kind, but they also helped me replace the back wheels on my husband’s transport wheelchair, adjusting the brakes because the replacement wheels I purchased on Amazon were not exactly the same as the original wheels. In addition they tightened up the hand breaks and grips. I needed it completed by the end of the week and they got it all done the same day (today)!! Such a blessing!! ❤️♿️
