I worked for Handishop for almost 10 years. The people are amazing and care about the people who not only work there but those who attend services. The management is understanding and care about the employees.
Caring caregivers and happy workers. A plus for the community.
Not a good place to work. There is a quite a bit of bullying and inappropriate "jokes" between supervisors and staff. Upper management and HR excuses this behavior as "just jokes or different personalities colliding." Overall, management is a very close knit very clicky group that tend to make one feel insecure and/or unheard when they are trying to discuss their concerns. Very sad and unfortunate.
