We had such funny experience as we needed to buy few items for my mom's knee operation. Deny was so helpful, my mom could not stop laughing as he made this shopping experience memorable. Not to say that some of those purchased items were much cheaper than in many other similar shops in Ottawa, another reason to smile about.
I have dealt with Handi House on numerous occasions and have always had the best of service. Friendly, helpful and always problem-solving to find the best solution. Recently, I was looking at purchasing a wheelchair for my father. Paul researched numerous options to find the best to fit my father's needs and his home. Paul ended up finding a wheelchair that was perfectly suited. He made all the changes that he needed for the wheelchair to be right for him before delivery. I recently inherited a scooter from a family member. Although Handi-House does not carry this brand of scooter, Dany took the initiative and contacted the manufacturer to resolve the problem. One of the tires was leaking air, Dany ordered a new tube and replaced it free of charge. He also does something that is rare nowadays- he responds quickly to calls and emails. I highly recommend them.
Recently my cousin was being released from Montfort Hospital and needed a hospital bed. Several years ago friends of my found themselves in a similar situation and I remembered that they were very well looked after at Handi-House. My cousin’s wife was delighted with the excellent advice and service she received from Dany. At a trying time like this it is nice to deal with a locally owned business where caring people answer the phone. Bravo
