I had a massage today which was absolutely not a relaxing light massage. I had to ask the therapist to stop treatment half way through. He asked me why you don't like it. I did not want to be rude and said its okay. Was disappointed. More disappointing was the front staff just went on charged me for a full service which lacked empathy and compassion as a customer. Did not even offer to book a treatment at a reduced cost or anything. Such poor customer service. Would not go here again.
I've been to this location a couple of times now for massages and facials. I've had massage services with Bella & Frankie and facials with Ashlee - they're all really great, take their jobs seriously and the front desk people are friendly and receptive as well for the most part. All RMTs have different massage styles and what I've learned is that it takes trial and error to find an RMT that provides the type of technique that you may be particularly looking for. This used to be my home store for massages before, But I just feel that there’s always an inconsistency with the price point when you’re about to check out. For example, went in for a facial recently, and I was told a different upfront cost, but when I went to the checkout, I was told that the red light therapy used on my face is an additional $60. Joyce is the best!!! Always an excellent massage - don't even think about hiding the aches and pains - and always a lovely chat. First time facial with Ami. Also excellent!
