My husband and I just received massages at Hand & Stone. We had the same massage therapist and we both had an awful experience. We were never informed that we would be getting a student. She was friendly and polite but the massage felt rushed, same motions were used over and over with no actual therapeutic pressure and too much oil. There seemed to be a communication barrier, so she didn't do what we asked either. I was supposed to get an added scalp massage as well, but never recieved it. It was my first time visiting hand &stone sherwood park and I must say it was one of the best massage places ever. It was all due Marie the RMT who did my massage. Before the session she asked me what my problem areas were and when i had informed her, she did amazing on making sure I was comfortable and really targeted those areas. She was also extremely kind and supportive. I highly recommend this place!!
Valentina has been an exceptional therapist in my rehab journey, technically and with helpful information for in between sessions.
Unorganized and just rude staff.
