I have been to Hand and Stone in South Elgin few times with different massus and always had a positive experience. Today I had a massage with Caroline. I'm a dental hygienist, so I have a lot of pain/tension in my neck and shoulders. I asked for a full body massage w focus on my neck and shoulders with medium to firm pressure. I was really disappointed with my experience here, even though my massage therapist, Laura, is absolutely amazing. She is talented, professional, and I always enjoy my appointments with her. Unfortunately, I had to cancel because both of my young children came down with a contagious illness and I was showing symptom's. As a parent, I felt the responsible thing to do was to stay home rather than risk exposing the staff and other clients. Fiona and Ivan are both top notch! Fiona is always so pleasant and helpful from the moment you walk in. And the fact that she remembered my name from Day One is pretty impressive! She always made me feel welcomed. Ivan is a great esthetictian. It's always so relaxing and exactly what I need after a long week. He's the only one I'll see!
