I booked a facial 2 weeks prior to my appointment date and all was well until I got there. I filled out all the paperwork and even went to the room - the facialist then asked if I used any products on my face. I told her I occasionally use tretnoid over a week ago. She said due to company policy that she cannot do my facial since i needed to refrain from using a retnoid for 6 months prior to a facial. Came in for a dermaplaning appointment and was turned away because Alicia, the esthetician, didn’t feel comfortable doing the service, even though I hadn’t used retinol in five days and their own policy says 48 hours is fine. On top of that, she acted like I was lying about the products I use. If you’re into wasting your time and being second-guessed, this is the spot. Booked the introductory facial specifically because of the $70 price, but was extremely disappointed with how little time was spent on extractions, barely 5 minutes. After the facial, I still had *many* visible and easily extractable blackheads, which was the main reasons I came in.
