When the optometric centre closed on Gateshead High Street I had to look for another opticians. Alas before finding another optician I developed distorted vision, and not caused by whisky LOL, I went to H.G.(Hampton Graves) for help and was advised to go to RVI. I have Age Related Macular Degeneration (ARMG) in one eye, which means every thing has a bend in it. So getting new glasses needs an optician who really knows what they are doing. Have been going to Hampton Graves Eye are for over 40 years and the service is first class and the staff very plesent and helpful.
I have used Hampton Graves for at least 15 yrs now and would highly recommend them. I have always found the staff to be extremely professional and friendly. Appointments are accessible, and communication of annual checks, collections and reminders is excellent. I would not choose to go elsewhere.

I have been a customer for over 45 years. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and professional. Appointments are easy to book online. They have a good range of frames to choose from. Examinations are thorough, and details of results are passed on. The shop itself is always immaculate. I always have a good experience when attending for eye examinations. I have worn contact lenses and glasses.
