I always tell people that Hampshire College taught me how to quit. If you were in a class you didn't like, or it required too many books or papers, you could just drop out. When I entered in '98 (you see, at Hampshire classes are based on when you enter, because so few graduate in 4 years), you didn't have to take very many classes to graduate.
