The place is nice and clean, the staff is hard working and friendly. But last time I visited there was and old lady in a wheelchair together with other in similar situation, I say hello but she didn't respond, I understood that she was no longer in control of anything. My sister in law is now a resident for the past 4 months and we are so happy with the level of care Robyn has received. They have implemented programs to help her & has started to socialise with other residents; has put weight on & is a lot happier now
HammondCare Waratah is an exceptional care home and miles ahead of any other facility I toured in deciding where I would relocate my Mother. The culture of the staff is incredible. So loving, respectful, caring and human. Nothing was ever a problem. The love, attention and dignity offered to Mum was remarkable. My mother was a resident of Scarlet Cottage where she spent her final weeks of her life. The quality of the facility is as close as you would get to a 5 star hotel for the elderly.
