I enrolled my mum into Leighton Lodge at Hammond Care Turramurra after looking after her for 16 years. I was initially worried about the level of care she would receive in an Aged care facilty. I neednt have worried. The staff at Leighton Lodge are truly angels come down to earth to take care of all the residents there. The carers and Registered Nurses at Hammond Care Nth Turramurra are so helpful and kind to my partner Glenn Carrapiett, who has dementia, which was triggered by a stroke. Their patience, cheerfulness and well-informed strategies for helping residents with dementia is great. Hammond also has visits twice a week from Kerri-Anne, who does excellent Life Engagement sessions with music and art. And Deb, an enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist, comes on Friday afternoons. I would highly recommend Hammond Care at North Turramurra. The carers are exceptional at Princess Juliana Lodge and there is a nice, homely vibe. My mother is well looked after here as are the other residents.
