Lucinda Cottage is truly special. I am so grateful of the kindness, care and warmth extended to my parents who have stayed at Lucinda Cottage this year. Not only do my parents thoroughly enjoy their 'holiday away from home', but as their daughter, I am sincerely grateful of how they are pampered, honoured, valued, respected and treated with the dignity that they deserve in this time of their lives. Lucinda Cottage is a fabulous service providing incredible physical, social, and emotional support for my father and for our family. Starting with 2 nights every 4-6 weeks and building up from there the staff were warm and welcoming from our first interaction. His room each stay lovely and private, visits from Terry the dog helped him settle in. Speaking on behalf of my Mum who is 99 yrs young. Mum loves going to Lucinda Cottage for 5 days respite per month. Mum always enjoys the stay. The staff are incredbly skilled, caring and friendly. I have no issues in recomending Lucinda to any one thinking of or requiring respite. Tony K
My husband has respite stays at Lucinda Cottage, now over many years. In this ideal setting he is cared for by a very compassionate and considerate staff, led by thoughtful managers. The setting is tranquil and he always has a very comfortable stay. This allows me to feel freer to leave him and enjoy my time travelling or helping family. I highly recommned Lucinda Cottage and the staff, to those requiring cottage respite.
