The team at Candlebark are amazing, I can't reccomend them enough. My mum with dementia, who doesn't need any help if you ask her, is always treated with respect and dignity. The staff are caring and professional. Having a short-term circuit breaker in caring for mum really makes all the difference. My wife and I couldn't do this for mum without a break and knowing that mum is cared for and looked after in a preofessional, clean and caring environment truely is our saving grace. I recently had my first stay at the Cottage . It was a wonderful experience ; everyone was thoughtful , kind and determined to provide outstanding assistance with competence and a cheery disposition The facility is wonderful .
Thank you Lucy and all the wonderful staff at Candelbark Cottage for the care you provided for my husband during respite. He enjoyed the home like environment as well as the small group of patients and carers. Made for a smooth transition for myself and family members.
Overjoyed to find that Candlebark Cottage respite operates in Goulburn.providing a more homely style of respite before full time residential care is needed.It’s a perfect place for Mum to have a little break,she loves it,just like a resort she says!! I can’t fault it in anyway.Lucy and the beautiful staff are exceptional.
Candlebark Cottage has a very homely feel. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and practical. Staff are caring and friendly. The staff to guest ratio is fantastic. Guests can be as involved in activities as they like, such as cooking. The manager is personable, helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure that guests enjoy their stay.
