We were so happy to find Candlebark Cottage respite for my father to have some time away. He was pampered during his stay and the wonderful care staff considered his interests to provide entertainment and tailored care. We highly recommend Candlebark Cottage.
Lucy and the wonderful team of carers are fantastic. My brother has stayed there twice now and he really enjoys it. Especially going out for scones and live music. I was a little worried about putting my brother in respite but it has been a great experience for him and me. Thanking you all so much.
The team at Candlebark are amazing, I can't reccomend them enough. My mum with dementia, who doesn't need any help if you ask her, is always treated with respect and dignity. The staff are caring and professional. Having a short-term circuit breaker in caring for mum really makes all the difference. My wife and I couldn't do this for mum without a break and knowing that mum is cared for and looked after in a preofessional, clean and caring environment truely is our saving grace. I recently had my first stay at the Cottage . It was a wonderful experience ; everyone was thoughtful , kind and determined to provide outstanding assistance with competence and a cheery disposition The facility is wonderful .
Thank you Lucy and all the wonderful staff at Candelbark Cottage for the care you provided for my husband during respite. He enjoyed the home like environment as well as the small group of patients and carers. Made for a smooth transition for myself and family members.
