Our experience with Hammer and Stain has been horrible. We were scheduled to come in for permanent jewelry October 17. Day off they canceled. It took 3 weeks to finally be able to get someone on the phone. Jamie assured us she could get us in and rescheduled for today (Nov. 20) at 6:30. Yes their page says closed on Thursday but Jamie assured us over the phone she would be here to do our jewelry. We pull up and nobody’s here, all lights are off, no communication that our appointment was needing to be rescheduled or anything.... read more
We had the best time at Hammer &Stain! Amanda is awesome and explains how to do everything so clear and makes it feel super easy! Super friendly staff and very accommodating for our event! I will definitely go back for another party or night out!
I visited Hammer and Stain with a group of Co workers for an afternoon of fun and team building. Instead I found myself in what amount to a kindergarten classroom. The of our group set the tone in how she spoke with us and conducted the class. There was no warm greeting, instead we were told to find our name and projects quickly. This experience: 1 Star. Only 3 stars based on a prior good experience 2 years ago. I called to ask questions and was promptly directed to email. I emailed questions and each was answered by “look at the website”. I still had difficulty scheduling my private party but thought everything was fine but the communication I received mainly via email the entire process made it clear that questions inconvenienced them and that even with a $500 booking, I still felt like a problem they were having to help vs a friendly well-meaning ... read more
We had such a great time at Hammer & Stain. Amanda was so fun and incredibly helpful. We loved the options we had to choose from for our projects. Was a fun crafting project for our wedding party to enjoy before the craziness of wedding to-dos. Highly recommend.
