In response to reviews I have read about Dr. Hamby, I must say he has given me exceedingly excellent care, always. He is attentive, well informed, never seemed to make me feel rushed or ashamed of needing to be seen for what some may feel redundant care. I felt as if he had come to his true calling. Many are called, few are competent to be as truly patient, kind and sincere with a pure heart as I have witnessed in Dr. Hamby. I have been a patient of Dr. Hamby's for years and he is one of the most skilled and caring doctors I've ever met. Since we moved here, there has not been a time when I have felt that the care I received was anything less than excellent. There are times when getting an appointment is difficult, but I also realize that this is the case for any great doctor--appointments are naturally hard to come by. Had to wait over an hour for several appointments and over 45 minutes for several additional! The staff are not nice and the phone rings and rings; voice mail most of the time. Doctor seemed rushed or not concerned about my health in the last few of my appointments. He did originally seem like a great doctor but as I have seen him over time, he has digressed in his care for me as a patient. I understand you see sick people all day but if you are that tired of it, find a new profession. He had terrible bedside manners. He ult... read more
