I would never recommend taking a loved one to this facility since new management took over, a new DON is there, and an awful administrator is there. The facility now has a strong smell of urine and feces. The facility is no longer kept clean and the floors look like they are no longer vacuumed. Onto the care... they left my mother in a room with a deceased resident for 4 hours and 45 minutes without offering her another place to go, including serving my mother breakfast alongside the deceased resident. Today showed me the truth about this place and it is horrifying. I went to see my dad after being told he had gotten sick. I walked into a room that looked abandoned. Dust everywhere. Trash on the floor. A smell that told me nobody had cleaned anything in far too long. No nurse anywhere. Nobody watching him. Nobody caring. This is not an accident. This is not being short staffed. My mother has been residing here since June. The staff exhibits exceptional personalities and professionalism, consistently performing at a high level. Through daily visits, I have had the pleasure of getting acquainted with most of the daytime staff and have been exceedingly impressed with their courteous demeanor and unwavering dedication to the residents. After seeing other facilities this would be the only one I would take my loved one to. It's very clean and well staffed.
