Half Hitch VEry large inventory, several locations and experienced sales staff who are VERY knowledgeable about different types of fishing. I also love the weekly fishing report they give. I have been doing business with them since the early 1980's. Tom Putnam and the staff are very professional and experienced. They always seem to give such great advice for whatever fishing question I have for them. I continue to shop there whenever I have need of fishing items.
Warning read this befor u buy from them! They sent me a bent rod and when I ask for a return they only gave me half back and said I don’t see a bent rod bad bad Business! DO NOT BUY!!!!!
The cart had a faulty tire, I tried to use the cart twice and both times it was wobbly and one tire went flat. I still had to get the cart back but was told the other tire was used. Also, I was faulted for UPS breaking the box apart during shipment. I used the cutting board but nothing else was my fault, still I am charged 150 dollars of my refund. Also blamed for tires making marks on tire rod.

Half Hitch is always helpful with everything from fishing to the boat. They tell you where the fish are, what to catch them with, how to get there & even how to prepare and cook your catch. I prefer boiling my catch in peanut oil most of the time!
bought this rod and reel combo and I love it
I typically frequent the Port St. Joe store while down in that area every year. While headed home from our trip this year, I dropped off two reels at this store, which I used during my trip, for a cleaning and re-grease. Upon receiving my reels back at home, a couple issues, which were no fault of their own, were discovered.
