The ferry was clean and wonderfully appointed. The staff were helpful, and cleaver. The naturalist had a great personality and really made it fun. Narration was very much appreciated! Free coffee and tea. Some snacks and sodas for sale. We had full sun and saw orcas going out and coming back in.
They cancel on you at the last minute! If I could give a lower rating than one star, I would. This is the message just sent their company: "From what I understand, after speaking with locals, your company's practice seems to be giving preference to your shore excursion customers, and at the last minute, canceling the ferry customers. Easy ferry ride between Skagway and Haines. Naturalist narrated the 40 minute ride with interesting facts about the area, geology, and wildlife. We saw bald eagles, harbor seals, and a few waterfalls on the ride.
