Sadly, though I and many others I know loved this place, and what Steve Hager had created and kept going through good times and bad, Hager & Hager on 17th in Live Oak has reached the end of this particular road. We attended a 'Farewell, Lost Our Lease' silent auction and celebration yesterday. I hope that the Phoenix will rise from the ashes and once again there will be a local place to find unique, vintage, and one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture, art and textiles that have been Hager and Hagers trademark.
