Derek is simply the best. After triple spinal fusion surgery I sought him out so that I could move like a 10 year old again. Suffice it to say, he had me doing handstands and cartwheels in just a few short months. With Derek, I can go in, tell him what I need to be able to do, and then let him guide me through the work I need to do to get there. Derek is an awesome physical therapist, I've been working with him for about 2 months and my lower back SI joint issues have subsided quite a bit. His methods are perfect for me, letting me take my time and getting over the fear of injury. I haven't been to the chiropractor in over 2 months, which is a testament to the exercise program that he has laid out.He is very professional but easy to talk to. Derek has been extremely helpful in assessing the cause of my pain and formulating a plan to eliminate it. He spends a lot of time listening, asking questions, and sharing information in an effort to fully understand my own unique circumstances. I also appreciate that he makes himself accessible between appointments in case I have any questions or concerns.
