My dad has been in Hadfield House for over 2years, having been admitted as an emergency during lock down. He has always been treated with care and respect by the wonderful carers. He returned from hospital in a very frail state a few months ago and the staff have made a great deal of effort to build up his strength. My dad was offered a place at Hatfield house for respite care when my.mum went into hospital. Dad, mum and I have been so very anxious about this. The last few weeks have been so distressing. Mum and Dads lives have turned upside down. They have been married for 63 years and never been apart. He has only been there a day but I can honestly say that our fears and anxieties were unfounded.
