I've been treated with care, compassion & respect since September of 2015 when I was first diagnosed with multiple cancers in my pancreas & liver. Surgeries, biopsies, chemotherapy, radiation therapy & pain management. My cancers have no known cure but treatments keep me living & comfortable. Generally short waiting times. Prompt response. Kindness, compassion & care throughout the journey. I am grateful we chose Hackensack university Medical Center and the John There Cancer Center.
HUMC exceeded my expectations! The Doctors, Nurses, Aides PTs and the other staff are so accommodating and friendly. All my needs and requests were met. Thank you ortho wing staff.

Staff very courteous, they attend me right away with my schedule on time. Dr's and nurses were so nice explaining everything about the procedure they're going to do.
My mother fell at home on Friday and was in the ER until she went home on Tuesday. For 2 days she was in the hallway!!!! I did a better assessment of her than she got by any of the nurses in that ER. Go someplace else!!!!!!!!!!
Warning: Bigger isn't always better....... HUMC has lost its dedication and commitment to patient care! One step forward and two steps back! My Mom has double pneumonia, a bladder infection, cant eat solid foods, cant speak, too weak too stand or walk.........Hackensack University Medical Center, Number 1 hospital in NJ? Mom was in ICU for 8 days, intubated for 5 of those 8 days, sent to a step down unit with our knowledge and agreement.
