We were there for my daughter's delivery of her first baby. The delivery was traumatic and the baby ended up in NICU. The NCU nurses and doctors have been amazing. They are caring and informative. The nurses in my daughter's room have also been amazing. Thank you. One room for improvement would be the waiting room area. We were there for over 24 hours and were FREEZING. Orthopedic Deptarment was outstanding...my dads second surgery with Dr Cahill and at Hackensack University Medical Center. Staff was friendly and on top of my dads needs. Will recommend everyone. I have cancer so unfortunately, I have been to the emergency room 4 times this year. You wait almost 20 Hours!!!! This is the norm and they don't even put you in a room. You are stacked against the wall with the other patients on a stretcher. The only great thing about this hospital is the patient advocates really try and do help you!!! When health concerns are an issue, the gracious competence at HUMC provides comfort. Great team.
Worst place to go. Totally unorganized. As I wait on them my mother's cancer is spreading. Can't wait to go to Sloan Kettering. Never again will I come here.
Wonderful place to be, in unfortunate circumstances. I haven't met a negative soul to date.
