Be prepared when calling Urology to be put on hold for over 30 minutes. When I asked the agent at Urology if there had been an emergency that required such discourtesy, she cheerfully said no, that if wanted an appointment I would just have to put up with the wait until someone could answer. This doesn't say much for Hackensack's "great patient service" which I had to listen to for 33 minutes.
Worst hospital ever I was there for 4 1/2 hours with my kids father for a fracture and finally after that he was called in but please stay away from this place. 4 years ago they sent my son home being sick and he almost died he had to take him to Morristown hospital and he got admitted
Everyone is very attentive, caring and loving this is what I would call God work on earth
Update: was released last night from the hospital with no answers. I spent the better part of the first day in a wheelchair in a ton of pain and they did nothing. I spent the night in observation bc they couldn’t figure out what was causing the pain. (And they still didn’t admit me)Yesterday they still couldn’t figure out what was causing the pain in my back... SO THEY DISMISSED ME AND SAID “we don’t know what’s causing it so make an apptmnt with your GP. So they kept me there till 8:30pm last night which was Friday. How do ... read more
RecommendedThe staff and nurses are 100% top notch at Hackensack University medical center I would recommend them to Anyone got the best care.
The nurses and doctors on S-ICU are wonderful. They really listen intently to questions and try to help us understand things. They all are so comforting and have time to deliver kindness and smiles as well as quality medical care. I would only improve one thing: signage. We all got lost so many times. Even a major turn to the lobby isn’t marked visibly. Thankfully, the staff were all helpful and happy to give directions.
The nurses were great.l have the best Dr. Sanjeev N. Patel. They saved my live. Thank you all.
