Patrick does an outstanding job supporting local artisans and farms with his wide selection. The foods are incredible and the gifts are fun, eclectic and whimsical. Finn loves his whale doll.
H&H and Patrick have become such an asset to our coastal communities. It's difficult for me to point to just one thing that I love about H&H. First: the produce, eggs, cheese, bread, sweets and so many other things. The shop has an abundance of "Made In Maine" offerings. And may I mention the meatpies from Portable Pies? I stock up on those - with a salad they make a wonderful easy meal. My personal favorite are the wooden creatures that Jack makes. I can't get enough of them. H&H is filled with a charming eclectic assortment of goods. Patrick has done a incredible job of finding local artists, crafters, makers, growers, bakers, and made them all available in one place. inventory is always changing. I find new wonderful things every time I stop. this shop has something for everyone. highly recommend stopping on your way through.
Great little shop in the heart of downtown Searsport. You are sure to find something for everyone. From fresh produce & baked goods to an assortment of meats to an abundance of Maine made crafts. Along with books from local authors and even a few not so locally made items. Prices are reasonable and the owner creates a welcoming atmosphere.
Living on Main street anywhere is nostalgic.. but being able to walk next door, be greeted as friend, and have your bag of local meats, produce and dairy waiting for you is premier. Patrick has proven to be the genuine connective tissue here in this community! When our grandson comes, his first desire is to go see Patrick and find the newest 'special' thing. He always leaves w a hidden gift in the bag... all the small things add up.... So very happy to have Patrick, Jack and Quincy to shop with!
