Patrick does an outstanding job supporting local artisans and farms with his wide selection. The foods are incredible and the gifts are fun, eclectic and whimsical. Finn loves his whale doll.
I love going into H & H. The owner is such a genuinely good guy. I like the locally source products, especially the meat. There is always a good variety of produce, breads, meats and desserts. Patrick supports our local artisans in so many ways, the book sections is awesome as it has unique choices. Take time to check out this store.
We LOVE H&H Mercantile! Patrick has a beautiful selection of Maine made products from produce to baked goods, jewelry, soaps, stained glass, artwork, and the lists goes on. Every time we step foot in the store we are welcomed and always find something to take home. My personal favorites include the micros greens and cheese selection. We are so happy H&H Mercantile now has a year round location in Searsport, Maine!
H&H is filled with a charming eclectic assortment of goods. Patrick has done a incredible job of finding local artists, crafters, makers, growers, bakers, and made them all available in one place. inventory is always changing. I find new wonderful things every time I stop. this shop has something for everyone. highly recommend stopping on your way through.
H&H and Patrick have become such an asset to our coastal communities. It's difficult for me to point to just one thing that I love about H&H. First: the produce, eggs, cheese, bread, sweets and so many other things. The shop has an abundance of "Made In Maine" offerings. And may I mention the meatpies from Portable Pies? I stock up on those - with a salad they make a wonderful easy meal. My personal favorite are the wooden creatures that Jack makes. I can't get enough of them.
