I experienced way too many discriminatory experiences here that I don't feel comfortable shopping at HEB anymore. It always happens with the cashiers. One lady was gladly helping out the white folks without being asked, but when it came to my turn, she left all my items sitting without helping to bag and stood so far away, it felt awkward to walk all the way over to ask for help, so I just did it myself. I don’t know how these folks do it, but they do it very well. Shopping isn’t just restocking your groceries somehow it’s a festival of food. Amazing products wonderful prices basically it’s a perfectly curated store. I wish it was closer to my home. I drive by the distance to shop here. But I find it is worth it every time.
