I ordered a pretty expensive baby blanket online that I have been looking for to match a book I have for my foster daughter. I call her “birdy” and I found the cutest book at a local boutique in Nashville. I searched for the blanket and found it on Gwen Frostic’s online store and my experience has been awful. The stars are out of respect for Gwen's work and her studio/store, which are well worth consideration and a visit in person...and distinct from the online store. The lukewarm review is for the large stationery order I placed online just after Thanksgiving: many of the cards delivered were different than what was pictured online. I grew up with Gwen Frostic prints - my family always had her stationary on hand and we would go there to visit when we were in the area. I’m sorry to say that the quality of the products have gone completely down hill in the last few years. I purchased over 150 cards large cards by mail and intended to use them as invitations. But the cards that I received were a thinner card stock, they had no decorative deckle edge, and the print was missing a good portion of the original details and color.
