Gwaii adventures do exactly what it says on the tin. Kyle and Kay are excellent owners and supporters of adventure. We took Peto out for our adventure to both the south and north islands staying at camp grounds by bc parks, private sites and boon docking. What a great experience all in a campervan. We had forgotton what hard sided camping was and it makes such a differen over a tent. Peto performed well and came equipped with all you need. My girlfriend and I came out to Haida Gwaii at the end of April and had an amazing time. We met some great people, saw places we’d never experienced before, and really got a feel for how special the island is. I got the chance to fly my FPV drones in some unbelievably beautiful spots and spent time just wandering beaches collecting rocks. It was one of those trips where every day felt a little different. We had the opportunity at the last minute, due to a cancellation, to rent for 2 nights a 4x4 Pajero from Gwai Adventures. Kay and Kyle were super accommodating for this last minute rent. They’re super friendly and professional. The whole process went super smoothly and it allowed us to discover way more places than we had originally planned. We highly recommend them. We’ll make sure for our next visit to book a vehicle early for the summer as we might not be as lucky next time! A big thank you!
Cannot recommend enough. The vans are a great way to get around Graham and Moresby. We had Elle - she was cozy and got us from point a to point b on the forest service roads no problem. The van got extra points for having a system that allowed us to plug in our phones and use CarPlay. The camping gear provided was perfect. We had a great trip in May 2025. Kyle and Kay were awesome, picking us up and dropping us off at the airport, and providing loads of useful information about the area. Our "Cute Ute" got us everywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend Gwaii Adventures to anyone planning on visiting Haida Gwaii.
