My girlfriend and I came out to Haida Gwaii at the end of April and had an amazing time. We met some great people, saw places we’d never experienced before, and really got a feel for how special the island is. Cannot recommend enough. The vans are a great way to get around Graham and Moresby. We had Elle - she was cozy and got us from point a to point b on the forest service roads no problem. The van got extra points for having a system that allowed us to plug in our phones and use CarPlay. The camping gear provided was perfect. It’s clear that the owners have a lot of experience van-camping and have put a lot of thought into the little details. We had a great trip in May 2025. Kyle and Kay were awesome, picking us up and dropping us off at the airport, and providing loads of useful information about the area. Our "Cute Ute" got us everywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend Gwaii Adventures to anyone planning on visiting Haida Gwaii.
Kay and Kyle of Gwaii Adventures were so helpful in making our first trip to Haida Gwaii perfect. The booking process was simple and communication was quick and accommodating. Our little suv got us everywhere we hoped to get to. Flight rescheduling caused us to lose a day of our time there but Kay was able to adjust that for us. I want to go back and spend more time on Haida Gwaii and when I do, I’ll definitely be reaching out to Gwaii Adventures again.
We spent 3 and a half days up in Haida Gwaii at the beginning of July and rented a Toyota Sienna from Gwaii Adventures. Kyle couldn’t have been better to deal with from my initial questions in planning the trip to giving us the best advice possible on what to see on the islands during our time. Our van was well maintained, clean, and was perfect for our family of 4 on the trip.
