John Guttridge is my hero. He was the most highly recommended Attorney for family law among many of my friends, who are lifelong residents and attorneys in the county. He is a total shark in the courtroom and a warm, funny guy outside. His daughters, who work with him, are two mavericks. If you can reach an amicable agreement without going to court, that’s the best! But if you have to go to court in Westchester County, Johnny Guttridge all the way!
Went to this law firm for a simple prenup. I was told I’d have to pay for a retainer but since it was a simple document whatever wasn’t used would be returned to me. My experience was fine until I asked how they would return the money that was not used from my retainer after they sent the final invoice that showed a credit balance.
