Sometimes ya get lucky. This was my good fortune when driving up Del Mar one afternoon. I had been craving some spicy kippered jerky for the past couple of days and passed a sign that read: Gus’s Really Good Jerky. What are the odds? Great jerky and great customer service!
Best Jerky I’ve had. Nancy, the owner, was very helpful and nice. We enjoyed her stories of the store and father’s history. Yes, the jerky is a bit expensive, but I’d much rather pay $20 for delicious jerky than pay $15 for a mediocre pack that has me wanting better. So many more goodies in the store that I want to try. Can’t wait to go back!
