$390 for 1.5 hours worth of towing, they definitely know they’re the monopoly around here. Thought it was VERY sketchy when the lady told me that she’ll take my card info, and the call, AND THEN get back to me with the total. The absolute most sketchiest thing I have ever heard but it’s not like I really have a choice and they definitely know that and take full advantage of it.

A huge thank you to the team at Gun and Smoke Towing. My van broke down on a Sunday afternoon while I was passing through Buena Vista, and after calling around, they were the only tow company I could get ahold of. They showed up quickly, were friendly and professional, and safely got my van to a local repair shop. Considering it was a weekend emergency, I thought the $100 tow charge was more than fair. Maybe good for the easy stuff but find someone else for mountain recovery. They sent a full flatbed for a tire swap on 173, didn't get within two miles. $300 Gunsmokes solution was to charge another $800 for them to send the appropriate vehicle. Nope

When our car broke down outside of Buena Vista late on a summer Friday night, Gunsmoke Towing was a huge help! Julie the dispatcher and Erin, our driver, helped us get our car (and my family of four) safely into town. Thank you, Gunsmoke!
